A manufacturing Health and Safety management system must achieve the three goals:
Be designed in a practical
manner which will
eliminate or reduce to as
reasonable practicable the
risk to all personnel
Satisfy the obligations
imposed on the employer by
the OHS Act (85 of 93) and
promulgated regulation
under section 43, therefore
limiting employer liability.
